Featured Montana Museums & Historic Sites (add your listing)
There are so many sights of historic significance in Montana, it is difficult to name them all in a short space. The museums of Montana hold much of this country's past and the memories of those who explored and built our land.
In Billings, MT, you can visit the Moss Mansion, a home from the early 1900s, or tour the Yellowstone County Museum. If you prefer modern art rather than delving into past times, you can see the Yellowstone Art Museum with its collection of modern contemporary art.
Every city and town in Montana has fascinating museums or historic sites of one type or another. For example, in Charlo you can stop by the Ninepipes Museum of Early Montana or in Browning tour the Blackfoot Cultural Center. In Darby, don't miss the Darby Pioneer Memorial Museum, and if traveling through East Glacier, be sure to browse the John L. Clarke Gallery and Museum.
